Loving others enough to share the HOPE of Jesus

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’”

Matthew 28: 18-20

We wish the church would grow. We would love to see our building packed. We would be thrilled if we had to expand the parking lot or to be forced to have to add-on to the church building. Yet, we struggle because we don’t know how to get our friends and neighbors to  obey the gospel, to have an interest in Spiritual things.. What should we say? How should we say it? Are there topics that we need to avoid? What’s my responsibility?

The purpose of this booklet is to help to motivate you to spread the word of God; to provide you with a toolbox of things you should say and things you shouldn’t focus on. Spreading the word of God can become second nature to you. You can be the kind of servant God wants you to be and share the joy of your salvation in such a way that your friends and neighbors will hear what the Lord did for them. You can be everything God wants you to be with H.O.P.E.

  • Helping – motivating, educating, implementing.
  • Ordinary  – not super Christians.
  • People – you and me/us.
  • Evangelize – spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We propose that our members use this booklet to help them  with spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.  There are several helps, Scriptures, and ideas that, if  put into practice, will promote the spreading of God’s word.

May our efforts be blessed. May God be glorified in all that we do. “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” (1 Corinthians 3:6) If I will plant, maybe someone else can water, and God will certainly give the increase. Do we believe that this is true?
